Harmers Pond is situated in Alexander Park and is about 1/2 acre in size and holds most species such as crucians, tench, perch, roach, rudd, bream, common and mirror carp and some very large eels. All methods work with boilies favoured for the carp and maggots bread and corn for the silverfish.
The mirrors go to 16lbs and a common of 23lbs was caught from this water and is the current club record for this species.
Night fishing is allowed by purchasing a night ticket prior to fishing. Good access is available for disabled with a ramp to the waters edge suitable for a wheelchair. Watch for the opening and closing times for the gate at the end of track entrance.
