Harmers Pond

 
We are pleased to be able to confirm that Harmers has now been re-opened by H.B.C. They have asked that all members be advised that anglers should nevertheless practice good hygiene especially if eating.

This water is also situated in Alexandra Park and is about an acre in size and holds most species such as crucians, tench, perch, roach, rudd, bream, common and mirror carp and some very large eels.


All methods work with boilies favoured for the carp and maggots bread and corn for the silverfish. The carp can also be caught off the surface.


The mirrors go to just under 20lbs and the commons to 26lbs.


Night fishing is allowed by purchasing a night ticket prior to fishing. Good access is available for disabled anglers with a ramp to the water’s edge suitable for a wheelchair.


Watch for the opening and closing times for the gate at the end of track entrance.
